Taking a bite out of fall

Apple pie baking contest in collaboration with Office of Purposeful Learning, Residential Life, MOVE, and Sodexo

This years, Father Mike’s Battle Of The Pies took place on Sept. 12 and 13 in Alliot. Teams of up to four people signed up to compete against each other for the best pie. The winners of the contest were Cassie Lathrope, ’26, Ashely Seymour, ’26, and Jillian Lesinski, ’26.

Apples picked during the annual First-Year Apple Picking event through MOVE that took place on Saturday, Sept. 7. The students traveled to Chapin Orchard in Essex Junction to pick the apples.
